Germany stocks higher at the close of trade; DAX up 0.63%

Germany stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Transportation &Logistics, Telecoms and Industrials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Frankfurt, the DAX added 0.63% to hit a new all time high, while the MDAX index added 0.47%, and the TecDAX index added 0.37%.

The best performers of the session on the DAX were Heidelbergcement AG O.N., which rose 3.68% or 2.420 points to trade at 68.150 at the close. Meanwhile, Deutsche Post AG NA O.N.added 3.11% or 1.250 points to end at 41.430 and Covestro AG  was up 2.96% or 1.560 points to 54.260 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Delivery Hero AG, which fell 3.32% or 4.60 points to trade at 133.75 at the close. Deutsche Boerse AG declined 2.32% or 3.270 points to end at 137.380 and Muench. Rueckvers. VNA O.N. was down 1.76% or 4.35 points to 242.85.

The top performers on the MDAX were K&S AG which rose 7.39% to 10.297, Kion Group AG which was up 5.16% to settle at 76.62 and Thyssenkrupp AG O.N. which gained 3.93% to close at 9.125.

The worst performers were TeamViewer AG which was down 3.13% to 41.48 in late trade, GEA Group AG which lost 2.38% to settle at 29.325 and Puma SE which was down 2.41% to 88.54 at the close.

The top performers on the TecDAX were Nordex SE O.N. which rose 6.89% to 25.760, Morphosys AG O.N. which was up 2.79% to settle at 96.470 and Qiagen NV which gained 2.33% to close at 42.745.

The worst performers were TeamViewer AG which was down 3.13% to 41.48 in late trade, Bechtle AG which lost 2.13% to settle at 174.800 and Software AG which was down 1.60% to 32.670 at the close.

The pan-European Stoxx 50 climbed up by 0.31%  to 3,622.42. In the cash markets, the DAX futures Germany was trading 0.55%  higher at 13,968.24. CAC 40 futures in France climbed up by 0.70% to 5,669.85, while the FTSE 100 futures in the U.K. rose by 0.22% to 6856.96,at the time of writing.
