Germany stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer and cynical technology and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the DAX gained 0.33%, while the MDAX index added 0.44%, and the Tec Dax index climbed 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the DAX were Adidas AG , which rose 4.31% or 12.15 points to trade at 294.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. added 2.66% or 0.898 points to end at 34.608 and Covestro AG was up 2.41% or 1.300 points to 55.140 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fresenius Medical Care KGAA ST), which fell 1.54% or 1.060 points to trade at 67.610 at the close. E.ON SE declined 0.85% or 0.075 points to end at 8.731 and Deutsche Telekom AG Na was down 0.81% or 0.122 points to 14.918.
The top performers on the MDAX were Aareal Bank AG which rose 7.56% to 21.480, Thyssenkrupp AG O.N. which was up 6.74% to settle at 9.850 and Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. which gained 3.85% to close at 27.480.
The pan-European Stoxx 50 climbed up by 0.09% to 3,602.67 . In the cash markets, the DAX futures Germany was trading 0.44% up at 13848.35. CAC 40 futures in France climbed up by 0.10% to 5617.27, while the FTSE 100 futures in the U.K. fell by 0.22% to 6,720.65 ,at the time of writing.
