France stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Foods and Drugs,Gas and water and General Financial Sectors sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the CAC 40 declined 0.16%, while the SBF 120 index declined 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were Alstom SA, which rose 5.93% or 2.71 points to trade at 48.41 at the close. Meanwhile, Stellantis NV added 4.00% or 0.54 points to end at 13.98 and Danone SA was up 2.41% or 1.32 points to 56.04 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Publicis Groupe SA, which fell 4.55% or 2.05 points to trade at 43.03 at the close. ArcelorMittal SA declined 4.49% or 0.91 points to end at 19.28 and Carrefour SA was down 2.85% or 0.44 points to 15.02.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Alstom SA which rose 5.93% to 48.41, Stellantis NV which was up 4.00% to settle at 13.98 and Soitec SA which gained 3.92% to close at 177.80.
The worst performers were Covivio SA which was down 5.11% to 71.50 in late trade, Publicis Groupe SA which lost 4.55% to settle at 43.03 and ArcelorMittal SA which was down 4.49% to 19.28 at the close.
The pan-European Stoxx 50 climbed down by 0.20% to 3,595.42 . In the cash markets, the DAX futures Germany was trading 0.24% down at 13815.06. CAC 40 futures in France climbed down by 0.33% to 5598.61, while the FTSE 100 futures in the U.K. fell by 0.11% to 6,712.95 ,at the time of writing.
